Students would be required to select topics of relevance in·Planning Profession and undertake research on past initiatives and future possibilities in the area. The work would include literature review of previous initiatives in the area of research, tools and techniques developed, survey of stake holders? and expert opinions and reporting of findings in a technical report format.

Contents:

Identification of topic of interest having relevance to planning profession.

Journal article and book reviews of work existing in the selected area of work Exposure to multiple view pointsof stakeholders, decision makers, advocates, technocrats, etc. on the topic.

Finding key issues related to the area of work.

Proposal of future possibilities and scenarios.
